Update On Brenda

Hello all, and I trust you are all well. Hugh Allen was just in the office and gave us an update on Brenda. Good news, she is now on the transplant list for Arkansas. It will be sometime before she is put on the national list, but one step at a time is good news for now. She has been home for several days and has to have in-home personal care,but again, good news because she is at home. Hugh's report about her overall condition was encouraging to hear. Since the news about her becoming a grandmother in March ,she is excited to get better so she can be around to spoil her grandson! Yes, another Quimby is on the way to carry on the Quimby name. Needless to say, the future granddad is very proud and excited. This was just the news Brenda and Hugh needed to help get them through the time waitng for her new heart. Now about another matter. Heart transplants are not given away and do not come cheap. Not counting all of the hospital expenses over these last few months, the bill for this is going to be "through the roof"expensive. I am going to talk with the president at the bank and see if we can establish an account so everyone who knows and loves Brenda and Hugh can give something to help them with this hugh expense. I know you wanted to know about this as soon as possible, so, here it is. We will get to work on this as soon as possible. I ask Hugh if this was ok with him, and he was ,for a moment, speechless, which is saying something about Hugh. He was excited and grateful for the kindness expressed.
